Franko, Loftin Earn AEC Weekly Honor Roll

Lancaster, Pa. — The Atlantic East Conference announced the men's basketball weekly award winners on Monday. Marywood's Brendan Franko and Michel Loftin earned Weekly Honor Roll nods.

Franko averaged 19.5 points per game to lead the Pacers to a 1-1 week in conference play. He finished with 19 points, nine rebounds and three blocks in a key victory over Centenary. Franko scored 19 points in a loss to Neumann.

Loftin tallied five steals and 11 rebounds to lead the Pacers defensively this week. In a victory over the Cyclones, he added seven rebounds and a pair of steals off the bench. Loftin collected three steals in a loss to the Knights to complement a 12-point effort.

Marywood men's basketball will be on the road Wednesday for a game against Gwynedd Mercy.
