Scibello Named USILA Division III Scholar All-American, Pacers Earn Team Academic Award

Louisville, Ky. — Marywood University senior John Scibello was named a 2025 United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Scholar All-Americans, officials announced Tuesday. Additionally, the Marywood men's lacrosse team was recognized with the 2025 USILA Team Academic Award.

The Pacers were among 80 Division III schools to finish the 2024-25 season with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. It marks the second time in program history that Marywood received the award. It previously earned it in 2021. Last month, Marywood claimed the Atlantic Team Team Academic Award for the highest GPA in the conference.

Scibello becomes the first Marywood student-athlete to be named USILA Scholar All-American. He joined 139 other Division III student-athletes on this year's 2025 USILA Scholar All-American list.
