Ryder Wins Misericordia Invite

Marywood finishes third place with 69 points

Dallas Twp., Pa. — Marywood University senior Bryce Ryder won the Misericordia Invitational to open the men's cross country season. The Pacers finished third out of eight teams in the competition. 

Ryder crossed the 4K finish line in 12:21.2 — four seconds ahead of Dickinson College's Nathan Caldwell. Joseph Cardillo came in 10th place in 12:45.8. 

Both Ryder and Cardillo beat their PRs by eight seconds. 

Jakob Seamans made his cross country debut in 13th place in 12:55.8. Raidan Francis ran to a 23rd place finish in 13:21.5 — three tenths of a second short of a PR. 

Ethan Williams ran his first race in 36th place in 13:42. Jacob Walsh had a 13:53. Brody Graff completed the race in 14:29.3.

Also competing for the Pacers was Austin Price (15:42).

Marywood will compete in two weeks at Manhattan College.
