Cardillo Selected Outdoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week

Haddonfield, N.J.- The Atlantic East Conference announced the Men's Outdoor Track & Field weekly award winners on Monday, with Joseph Cardillo of Marywood being named Track Athlete of the Week.

Cardillo broke the Marywood school record in the 10,000-meter run at Widener's Danny Curran Invitational. He finished eighth among collegiate runners out of 59 participants. Cardillo finished in 31:33 to break Bryce Ryder's record by 11 seconds. He ranks first in the Atlantic East and fifth in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

Marywood heads to York College of Pennsylvania on Wednesday for the York Twilight Meet.
