Men's Track and Field Takes Second Place at Misericordia

4x100 Relay takes first place overall

Dallas, Pa. — Marywood University men's track and field took second place out of 10 teams at the Misericordia Invitational on Saturday.

The Pacers finished with 122 points overall. Misericordia University was the top team with 216.5 points.

The men's 4x100 relay of Cyrus Holland, Kunda Ngoy, Jessiah Evans and Daniel Matyjaszek ran a first-place time in 44.18 seconds.

Daniel Lauresen came in second place overall in the pole vault. Lauresen cleared a mark of 12 feet, 2 3/4 inches (3.73m). His height ranked second all-time in school history.

Josh Schriver threw the third-farthest discus in school history. He was sixth place with a distance of 127 feet, 10 inches (38.96m).

Shilo Bivins took third place in the triple jump. His distance of 40 feet, 2 1/4 inches (12.25m) ranks third all-time in school history. He was also third in the high jump, clearing 5 feet, 11 1/2 inches (1.82m). Bivins also took fifth in the long jump (6.01m).

Raidan Francis came in second place in the 800 with a time of 2:01.01. Joseph Cardillo was the runner-up in the 1,500 with a time of 4:10.93.

In the 5K, Jacob Walsh finished second in 16:54.29.

The Pacers' 4x400 relay of Brody Graff, Robert Russo, Kunda Kgoy and Raidan Francis was third place in 3:35.2.

AJ Rosenfelt came in fifth place in the javelin with a throw of 143 feet, 4 inches (43.7m).

In the sprints, Matyjaszek came in fourth place in the 100 dash with a wind-assisted time of 11.08 seconds. He was fifth in the 200 dash in 23.33 seconds.

Ngoy finished in fourth in the 400 in 52.84 seconds.

Marywood will compete at King's College next Sunday.
