Solomon Named Atlantic East Defensive Player of the Week; McCabe to Honor Roll

Kayla McCabe joined the 100 Point Club in the Pacers' first round playoff game

Lancaster, Pa. — Marywood University senior Emma Solomon was named Atlantic East Conference Defensive Player of the Week in women's lacrosse, officials announced Monday. Kayla McCabe was selected to the Atlantic East weekly honor roll.

Solomon had 10 draw controls, four ground balls and a caused turnover in the Pacers' win over Keystone. Offensively, she added three goals and five assists for eight points.

McCabe had a career-high 10-point effort in a win over Keystone. She scored seven goals and three assists. McCabe also added four draw controls. Her 10-point performance propelled McCabe to join the 100 Point Club during the Atlantic East first round playoff game.
