Men's Cross Country Tabbed as Sixth in USTFCCCA Regional Preseason Ranking

New Orleans, La. – Marywood University was selected sixth in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA)'s NCAA DIII Men's Cross Country Mid-Atlantic Region rankings.

Defending regional champion Carnegie Mellon begins the season at No. 1 returning its depth from a team that scored just 19 points last year. The Tartans put six runners in the top-7 and welcomed back three of them.
Johns Hopkins notched the second spot returning their best runner.

Dickinson is ranked third, followed by Misericordia, then, Saint Vincent.

Marywood brings back Jack Baronski and Bryce Ryder who made an appearance in the NCAA National Championship.

The Pacers return four of their top seven runners from last season and adds a talented incoming class.

Regional Rankings are determined subjectively by a single member coach in each respective region. The regional representative is tasked with weighing returning teams' strength with current season results (if applicable) in determining a rank-order of squad potential. Only USTFCCCA member programs are eligible to receive a ranking. Teams with provisional status within the region may be ranked.

This season's Mid-Atlantic Regional will be held in November at Lock Haven.
