Koratich, McCarey Earns Atlantic East Conference Weekly Honor Roll

Haddonfield, N.J. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Weekly Award winners, Monday. Marywood's Alex McCarey and Kylee Koratich were named to the Weekly Honor Roll.

McCarey had two fourth place performances in the 100 and 200 back at the Electric City Invitational. McCarey tied for the Pacers' best individual finish in 58.1 seconds. He swam to a 2:09.36 mark in the 200 back and dropped more than 15 seconds from his previous time in the 200 IM to finish in 2:15.76.

Koratich was the top swimmer in both the 400 IM and the 200 butterfly at the Electric City Invitational. She swam the third-fastest 200 butterfly time in school history, finishing first in 2:22.98. Koratich won the 400 IM in a time of 5:06.09. The York, Pa. native also dropped 1.46 seconds to take second place in the 100 butterfly in 1:04.64.

The Pacers will be back in action January 10th at home for a tri-meet against Saint Mary's College of Maryland and Cedar Crest College.
