Pacers Selected First in Atlantic East Conference Preseason Poll

Pacers return four all-conference players

Lancaster, Pa. – Marywood University was the top pick of the coaches to win the Atlantic East Conference, according to the 2025 AEC Softball Preseason Coaches' Poll released on Wednesday afternoon.
 
The Pacers received 22 points and three first-place votes.

The Pacers return four All-Atlantic East Conference honorees, Kat Davis, Jessica Hanley, and Priscilla Grill, and Tori Para.

Davis is fresh off her Rookie of the Year honors with a batting average of .290. She also had a conference leading 30 stolen bases.

Hanley boasted a conference leading .383 batting average last season. 

Grill collected 27 hits with 15 RBIs for the Pacers and Para roped 11 doubles and had a .330 batting average. 

Marymount University came in second with 19 points and one first-place vote.
 
Gwynedd Mercy University was third with 15 points and one first-place vote, followed by Centenary University in fourth with 12 points and one first-place vote. Neumann University was fifth with 11 points as was Immaculata University. 
 
The championship is set for May 3-4.
