Para Named to NFCA First Team All-Region

Junior third baseman becomes Marywood's second-ever First Team All-Region

Louisville, Ky. — Marywood University junior third baseman Tori Para was named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association First Team All-Region V, officials announced Friday. Para becomes the program's second-ever First Team All-Region recipient.

Named the Atlantic East Conference Player of the Year, Para currently leads the NCAA Division III in doubles (23) and doubles per game (.61). As of May 11, she ranks 34th in batting average (.480), 35th in hits (61), 51st in RBIs (42), 52nd in RBIs per game (1.11), 52nd in total bases (94), and 66th in slugging percentage (.740).

Para becomes the 12th NFCA All-Region recipient at Marywood. She becomes the first First Team All-Region since Erika Cook was named First Team All-East Region as an at-large selection in 2008.

The National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced the 383 student-athletes from 170 schools who comprise the 2025 NFCA Division III All-Region teams.

The awards honor student-athletes from the Association's 10 regions with selection to one of three teams. NFCA member head coaches nominate and then vote for the winners in their respective region.
If they were not already voted to an All-Region squad, conference Players and Pitchers of the Year from member institutions are added to the third team in their region, so long as they are nominated by their member head coach and receive votes.

All honorees move forward to be considered for selection for the three NFCA Division III All-America squads, which will be announced May 28 online and on-site at the NCAA Division III Finals banquet in Bloomington, Ill.
