Quintet of Softball Players Land on Academic All-District Team

Greenwood, Ind.- The Marywood University softball team had five players who landedon the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team Tuesday afternoon.

To be selected, a student-athlete have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at her current institution. At the time of nomination, athletes must have played in at least 90 percent of the team's games or have started in at least 66 percent of the games. Pitchers must have had at least 17 appearances, or 25 innings pitched. Nominations were limited to a maximum of five student athletes per school.

Kat Davis, Marissa Hoffman, Riley Marshall, Tori Para, and Brianna Voyer all earned this honor. Para received her third consecutive selection, while Davis picked up her second career honor.

Para was selected as an Academic All-America® finalist and will appear on the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on June 16, 2026.

The 2026 Academic All-District® Softball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
