Marywood University Pacers

A member of the women's tennis team from 1986-89, Cathy Fisher led a Pacers program which qualified for NCAA Tournament finishing 22nd in the country during 1988-89 season.  In addition, Fisher is the only individual to qualify for the NCAA tournament in Marywood history. 

A team Captain while starting three years at the #1 singles with a 37-4 record and #1 doubles with a 28-6 overall record, Cathy was the team MVP in 1986, 87, and 88 and the ESAC Individual Champion three straight years in 1986, 87, 88.

Cathy was also member of the 1986-87 women's basketball team that record a 19-8 overall record and NCAA Tournament berth, the first in school history. That team was inducted into the HOF in 2017, becoming the first Marywood team to earn the honor.  

Fisher taught special education in the Baltimore School District, Baltimore, MD until her passing in May 2017.
