Hall of Fame
Renee Jourdanais, a current Marywood University faculty member, is a 1996 graduate of Marywood College where she received her B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders. After receiving her M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from Nazareth College (NY) in 1998, Jourdanais returned to Marywood in 2000 to become a Clinical Supervisor and professor where she is responsible for direct clinical supervision to graduate and undergraduate students.
A member of the 1995 Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) Championship Softball team, Jourdanais was a first-team All-PAC selection in both 1995 and 1996. A member of the PAC All-Academic Team for four straight years (1993-1996), Jourdanais captained the Pacer Softball team during her 1996 senior season and is still the holder of several Marywood University softball records. Jourdanais holds single season records for hits (46), RBI (37) and triples (9), all obtained during the 1995 season. Jourdanais is also Marywood University's career record holder for batting average, compiling an outstanding .423 batting average over four seasons.
Jourdanais currently resides in Pleasant Mount, PA with her husband John Finnen. She is a member of Marywood University's Athletic Advisory Board, serves as Marywood Athletic's Faculty Athletics Representative (FAR)Â and is an active participant in Wayne County and Scranton Softball Leagues.
