Mary Ann Olivetti Iezzi, Dunmore, was honored for her outstanding athletic achievements as a pitcher on the Pacers softball team. Iezzi, a 1985 graduate of Marywood College, was a starting pitcher for the Pacers from 1982-1985, where she posted a 35-4 (.897) career mark.

As a member of the softball team, she set several Marywood records, including the single-season record for lowest earned run average with a 0.53 ERA in 1983. Iezzi also holds the record for the highest single-season winning percentage-she went 11-1 (.916) in both 1984 and 1985. In four seasons, Iezzi earned a career ERA of 1.42.

After graduation from Marywood, Iezzi worked at Lourdesmont as a childcare worker. After a stint at the Institute for Human Resources and Services as a Project Director of group home, Iezzi moved on to Telespond Senior Services as Director of its adult day program.

In 1990, she earned her Master's Degree in Community Health Administration from Marywood. She is currently the Computer Technology/Library Science teacher at St. Anthony of Padua School.
