Charlene Scribner Fraske was a three-sport standout at Marywood, playing on the field hockey, basketball, and softball teams. During her playing days Charlene was a dominating presence on the field hockey field. She set school records by tallying 19 goals and 10 assists during her career.

Better known to most as "Char," Fraske was also selected on a couple of occasions to play for the Mid-East Regional team in the United States Field Hockey Association National Festival. During the winter Char would turn her attention to the hardwood where she was a four-year starter at point guard for the Pacers.

In each of those seasons she led the Pacers in assists. Char also enjoyed success on the softball diamond where she was the squad's starting shortstop for four seasons. During that span she hit at a very respectable .350 clip. After working for IBM for several years, Char is now working as a teacher.
