Jesse Fries Munley, Jessup, a 1997 graduate of Marywood University, is a former field hockey, softball and women’s basketball standout for the Marywood Pacers.  A four-year member of the softball team, Munley led the program to a conference title in 1995 after the Pacers compiled an 18 -15 record.

Munley still shares the single-season runs scored record after crossing the plate 38 times during that Championship run.  For her efforts, Munley was selected as an All-PAC second-team performer in both 1995 and 1996.

In the field hockey, Munley excelled as a defender.  Under Coach Martha Kerrick, Munley led the Pacers to back-to-back runner-up finishes in the PAC Championships in 1995 and 1996 and was rewarded with a first-team All-PAC selection in each of those seasons.  Munley also led the Pacers to a runner-up finish in 1994 under Coach Jim McHugh.

As a four-year member of the women’s basketball team from 1992-1996, Munley excelled on the court as well.  She still holds the single season record for offensive rebounds (145), a record she established during the 1995-1996 season.  Munley is also the individual game record holder for offensive rebounds in a game after grabbing 12 offensive rebounds against Alvernia in 1995.

Munley is married to former Marywood Pacers baseball standout Jason Munley and currently serves as a Health and Physical Education teacher at Clear Run Intermediate School, part of the Pocono Mountain School District.  She and her husband have a son, Jason.
