Maria Corradetti Dwyer was a three-year starter in goal for the Marywood field hockey team. During that time Maria posted an impressive 20-10-5 record as the starting goalie. Maria posted 15 shutouts during her three seasons which remains a Marywood career record.

During her tenure between the posts Maria also set a school record when she stopped 24 shots in a 1-0 win over the University of Scranton. For her outstanding play Maria was selected on several occasions to play in the United States Field Hockey Association National Festival as a member of the Mid-East Regional team. She currently serves as a teacher in the Philadelphia area.
