Ryan ’06 was a four-year standout for the Pacers (2002-05) and finished as the PAC individual runner-up in both 2002 and 2004, the latter of which he helped the team to a runner-up finish. Ryan was thrice named First Team All-PAC (2002-04) and team MVP (2002-co; 2004, 2005).
The Honesdale, Pa. native was a three-time team captain (2003-05) and also earned PAC Academic Honor Roll honors all four years. He was honored as a Pacers Scholar-Athlete during the 2003-04 and 2004-05 academic years. Ryan placed 68th at the NCAA regionals in 2004 and currently holds the 17th and 23rd fastest times in program history.
Ryan received his B.S. in Elementary Education from Marywood in 2006 and received his middle school math certification (7-9) in 2008. Ryan went on to earn his Masters of Education from Cabrini College in 2012.
Married to Tanya Ryan since October 3, 2015, Ryan has been employed as a mathematics instructor in the Norristown Area School District for the past 10 years, currently working as a math specialist at Eisenhower Middle School. Currently residing in Gilbertsville, Pa., Ryan remains active in athletics as a football, basketball and baseball coach at Eisenhower.
