Kristine (Kloss) Heery is a 1994 graduate of Marywood College with a B.S. in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. After suffering through a 6-9-1 season her freshman year, Heery led the Pacers to three consecutive winning seasons, culminating in two consecutive PAC Championships during her junior and senior seasons. As a sophomore, Heery became Marywood's first field hockey student-athlete ever selected to the College Field Hockey Coaches Association (CFHCA) Regional All-American Team.

In 1992, her junior year, Heery was honored by PAC coaches as a first-team All-Conference Selection, and concluded her senior year by participating in the CFCHA Senior All-Star game. Over her four years as a field hockey standout, Heery led the Pacers to a four-year record of 36-28-2 and registered 26 goals and 11 assists for 63 points.

Heery, who also owns a M.Ed. in Reading from East Stroudsburg University, currently resides in Skokie, Illinois with her husband Frank and their two sons: Jack (4) and Quinn (2). A stay at home mother, Heery spent much of her work history as a Reading Specialist and Elementary teacher at several school districts in Maryland, Pennsylvania and Colorado.
